Along with her role as Spencer on Pretty Little Liars, Troian Bellisario also stars in a Shakespeare-inspired short film called Exiles. And as if that isn’t cool enough in itself, Troian announced some exciting news about the flick today.

“Ah! I’m so stoked! #Exiles got into its first festival! Marfa Film Festival in June 2013! Congrats @romeoisbanished.”

ETonline: What was the on-set reaction to finding out Tyler Blackburn was leaving Rosewood for Ravenswood?
Bellisario: We were all really shocked. We knew that certain characters from Rosewood were going to be venturing into Ravenswood or would be finding out they were from Ravenswood, but I think we all assumed it would be newer characters, or more ancillary characters — or maybe that’s where Jenna’s disappearing to all the time. So when all of a sudden we heard it was Tyler, Ashley [Benson] and I were like, “Nooooooo, that’s not fair! [laughs] We want him on our show.” But I’m excited to see what they do with the show.
ETonline: You say that some PLL characters will find out they’re from Ravenswood — how interconnected will the two shows be?
Bellisario: I don’t know exactly how it’s going to happen, but I know Toby and Spencer are going to Ravenswood in the episode we’re filming next week! I’m excited to see what that’s going to turn out because it’s already pretty crazy in the script.

For Spring 2013, the starring role goes to Pretty Little Liars’s Troian Bellisario. “I am a really big fan of Troian and was really excited to get to work with her on this,” Antonoff told ELLE.com. The two met up with photographer Lindsey Byrnes, hairstylist Travisean Haynes, and makeup artist Rebecca Wachtel at The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles for a day of jumping on beds, lounging by the pool, and a game or two of tennis. “The hotel was such a perfect backdrop,” Antonoff said. “We had a lot of fun.”
